Third Generation

The third generation of Mustangs were a big leap for Ford being a more aerodynamic car and more fuel efficient, as well as making the overall ride more comfortable. In addition the ride quality and handling was improved, along with allowing the passengers to have more interior space. This generation of Mustangs attracted not just Ford enthusiasts but also the average consumer. With these new upgrades Ford also added a new 2.3L forced induce engine making 132hp which was much more than your average grocer getter.
